Havertown Carpet Co. was founded in 2015 to address a growing need for reliable and convenient flooring solutions throughout Delaware County, PA. With over a decade of industry experience, owner Shane Barry set out to create a flooring company that respected the busy schedules of families by making the flooring buying process easy, transparent, and dependable.

The original concept focused on flexibility and confidence. Our showroom quickly filled with carpet, laminate, and luxury vinyl samples while mobile shop-at-home services allowed homeowners across the Greater Philadelphia area to see and compare flooring within their own homes before making a decision they could truly feel good about.

Our Rich Legacy

Company growth came quickly. By 2016, Havertown Carpet expanded into its current Havertown showroom at 1125 W. Chester Pike, providing additional displays and a more immersive shopping experience. Continued growth led to a second showroom opening in West Chester in 2021, allowing us to better serve homeowners throughout Chester County, PA.

In 2022, the opportunity to acquire Fred Callaghan Carpet and Flooring in Malvern, PA, introduced a larger showroom and on-site warehouse, improving product availability and installation efficiency. By 2023, our West Chester showroom relocated into this newly renovated Malvern space to further enhance customer convenience and selection.

A significant milestone arrived in 2025 when Shane acquired Fisher’s Carpet One in West Chester, officially transitioning the location into Havertown Carpet One. Today, we proudly serve customers throughout Delaware, Montgomery, and Chester Counties, as well as portions of Bucks County, Berks County, and the Wilmington, DE region.
